    went through actual hell and came out on top. 

    was completely broken and just needed to be loved

    was Naive because he was alone and hurting 

    was, though not technically, a survivor because he never backed down. 

    was exactly like Ciel, just without one hell of a butler.

    -The man adores his wife so much. I’m not kidding. Marguerite wants a cat? He’ll get her a lion. She wants another kid? He’s already got the nursery planned and painted!

    -The man would risk his life for any of his family. FIGHT HIM.

    -Doesn’t know how to help Lucas with his mental problems but will always be there to support him!

    -His relationship with Lucas is basically him be a really loving dad and petty insults

    -He loves his children so much

    -He wanted another kid but knew it would be too much for him and Marguerite

    -Bought the swamp on a whim and never regretted it

    -Probably bought the house after looking at the first two floors and then realised HOLY BALLS THERE’S LIKE THREE MORE FLOORS???

    -Likes to make things with Lucas and was the one to get Lucas into computers

    -Probably bought Lucas his first computer when he was 14

    -Lucas nearly cried and wouldn’t stop hugging Jack

    -THE MAN CAN LIFT LIKE THREE TIMES HIS WEIGHT. IT’S INSANE.

    -His accent sometimes gets so thick that Marguerite can’t understand him and it’s so funny oh my god

    -His ‘man cave’ was built for Marguerite and him to get some time alone from the kids

    -Totally works for charity in his spare time

    -Loves to embarrass his kids

    -Still takes everyone on holidays and forces them to take family photos in stupid positions

    -THE MAN WILL NEVER SHAVE HIS BEARD

    -fight him marguerite thats the only thing you cant make him give up

    -Marguerite low-key decides his outfits but Jack doesn’t mind

    -Him and Zoe watch stupid comedies together and it’s really fun

    -Gave the talk to Lucas when he was 13 and went into terrible detail. Lucas never wants to speak of it again.

    -Probably really likes hugs and cuddles

    -He loves Marguerite’s food and almost always asks for seconds

    -Can bake like a champ.

    -Definitely the type of man who would want to renew his vows on their 10th wedding anniversary

    -Cries at weddings
